Abstract

Setelah Nabi wafat, kaum Muslimin mengangkat Abu Bakar sebagai khalifah pertama. Pemerintahan Abu Bakar tidak berlangsung lama, hanya sekitar dua tahun. Dalam kepemimpinannya, Abu Bakar menghadapi banyak masalah di negaranya, mulai dari murtad, nabi palsu, dan penentang yang membayar zakat. Berdasarkan percakapan dengan rekan-rekannya yang lain, dia memutuskan untuk melawan orang murtad melalui Perang Riddah (Perang melawan kemurtadan). Nama lengkapnya adalah Umar Bin Al-Khattab Bin Nafil Bin Abdul Aziz Bin Rabah Bin Qarth Bin Raza`ah Bin Uday Bin Kaab. Lahir di tahun ke-13 Pacsa Elephant. Dan meninggal pada hari Minggu pada usia 63 tahun. Dia menjabat sebagai khalifah selama sepuluh tahun, enam bulan, dan empat hari.
