Analisis Determinan Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Kabupaten Batu Bara Sumatera Utara

Abstract

Salah satu indikator penting untuk melihat maju atau tidaknya suatu negara dilihat terlebih dahulu dari pembangunan ekonomi daerah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis determinan pertumbuhan ekonomi kabupaten batubara sumatera utara. Permasalahan penelitian adalah pertumbuhan ekonomi kabupaten batubara mengalami fluktuasi dari tahun 2011 - 2016 karena adanya determinan pertumbuhan ekonomi seperti akumulasi modal dan pertumbuhan penduduk yang pada akhirnya dapat meningkatkan jumlah angkatan kerja dan kemajuan teknologi. Akumulasi modal terjadi apabila sebagian dari pendapatan ditabung/diinvestasikan kembali dengan tujuan memperbesar output dan pendapatan di kemudian hari. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder yang diperoleh dari badan statistik Sumatera Utara dan instansi-instansi batubara. Metode penelitian dengan cara model analisis regresi berganda yaitu Metode Ordinary Least Square (OLS). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa struktur ekonomi kabupaten batubara memiliki kontribusi yang besar dan pengaruh signifikan terhadap sektor primer dalam pembentukan Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB).
