KAJIAN MAKANAN IKAN TAWES (Puntius javanicus) DI SUNGAI LINGGAHARA KABUPATEN LABUHANBATU, SUMATERA

Abstract

Kajian makanan ikan tawes dilakukan di Sungai Linggahara. Pada kawasan Sungai Linggahara terdapat kawasan wisata. Kegiatan wisata ini meyebabkan terjadinya kerusakan habitat karena pengelolaan lingkungan atau kawasan wisata tidak berbasis tentang keberadaan spesies. Hal ini berpengaruh terhadap pola kebiasaaan makanan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dari bulan Maret 2017 sampai Juli 2017. Pengambilan contoh ikan menggunakan alat tangkap berupa jala berukuran panjang tiga meter, jaring insang dengan tiga mata jaring ( ¾ , 1 ½ dan 2 inchi) berukuran panjang 20 m dan lebar 2 meter. Pengambilan sampel ikan dilakukan padatiga titik sampling yaitu bagian hulu, tengah dan hilir yang terdiri atas 3 stasiun. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji komposisi makanan ikan keterkatikan antara komposisi kimiawi dan kandungan energi makanan dengan tingkat kematangan gonad, mengkaji pengaruh wisata terhadap komposisi makanan. Hasil tangkapan ikan tawes selama penelitian berjumlah 215 ekor. Jumlah tangkapan tertinggi berada di stasiun hulu dengan rata-rata ukuran panjang ikan disemua stasiun 75-315 mm. Ikan tawestermasuk ikan omnivore cenderung herbivore dengan jenis makanannya berupa fitoplankton, tumbuhan air, detritus, insekta, ikan, gastropoda dan krustase
