Peningkatan Kewirausahaan Masyarakat Melalui Izin Edar Produksi Dodol Desa Sukajaya Kecamatan Cibitung Kabupaten Bekasi

Abstract

Hampir 25 tahun usaha turun-temurun produksi dodol khas Betawi dilakukan pengusaha rumahan “Dewa Rasa”. Pengerahan warga setempat (muda-tua) mengolah kelapa menjadi makanan lengket-manis. Tidak adanya izin edar produksi merupakan tantangan bagi pengusaha selama ini. Konsumen harus mendatangi produsen secara langsung untuk membeli produk tersebut. Peran tengkulak mengakibatkan harga dodol menjadi 2x lipat ketika memasuki pertokoan makanan. Hal ini didukung oleh penyematan label (merek dagang) yang berisikan nama, komposisi, dan pencantuman nomor izin produksi pada kemasan. Tahun 2017, tim pelaksana kegiatan telah mengumpulkan data pendukung atas masalah yang tengah dihadapi warga desa Sukajaya. Tim bersama Dinas Kesehatan kabupaten Bekasi memberikan sosialisasi dan pengarahan mengenai pengajuan izin edar produksi. Program ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan sertifikat produksi pangan izin rumah tangga (SP-PIRT). Produsen dodol menjadi paham pentingnya suatu label dan bagaimana label tersebut dapat diakui oleh konsumen dimana dodol yang mereka jual adalah produk terpercaya dan aman dikonsumsi. Selain itu, pengusaha dapat mengirimkan produknya ke pusat oleh-oleh makanan tanpa jasa pihak ketiga dan harga dodol mampu mencapai Rp. 50.000 – 60.000,-.
