Abstract

Restaurant Information Systems Desktop Based is an application system that is contained in Ulee Kareng Café Medan. In this case the Spanish Information System aims to manage order data and the data of raw materials is computerized and designed to facilitate the process of reservation services at restaurants and also checking raw materials. Usually when viewed from the many restaurants there, still a lot of restaurants are experiencing any problems in the process of booking as long in terms of booking, mistakes menu ordered, and also carry out checking of raw materials that do every day into the warehouse. Therefore to simplify the process of data processing at the restaurant then designed an information system that facilitates the employees inside the restaurant ordering process menu and also checking their raw materials. Desktop-Based Information System's restaurant in the manufacturing process through several stages of designing DFD, Flowchart and the database is in this application using VB.Net programming language and uses a MySQL database storage process as well as in the reporting process using Crystal Report. Results from desktop-based restaurant information system makes the process of ordering food is fast and accurate and regular data storage, checking of raw materials is done accurately, as well as in the manufacturing process of the purchase and sale report.
