Abstract

Proyek penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis, merancang, dan mengimplementasikan sistem informasi Persediaan barang pada Tb. Budi Jaya Abadi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian rekayasa dengan instrumen penelitian meliputi studi dokumentasi dan observasi. Bahasa pemograman visual yang digunakan adalah Visual Basic.Net 2013 dan MySql sebagai basis data. Sistem informasi yang telah dibuat memiliki fungsi sebagai pengolahan laporan persediaan barang, laporan barang keluar, laporan barang masuk, sehingga menghasilkan informasi berupa Harga Pokok Penjualan. Fungsi yang terdapat dalam sistem informasi tersebut mampu mengatasi masalah pengguna, diantaranya kesulitan dalam mengolah informasi secara cepat dapat diatasi dengan sistem informasi ini. Adanya pemisahan antarmuka pengguna dan basisdata bisa membuat ketersediaan data dan informasi lebih aman dan tidak mudah hilang sehingga data dan informasi dapat dimanfaatkan pada saat dibutuhkan. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan di Tb. Budi Jaya Abadi diharapkan dapat menjadi masukan dan pertimbangan yang berguna untuk meningkatkan kinerja dalam pengolahan data serta mempermudah pemilik dalam melakukan kegiatan usaha.
