Abstract

Strategi yang tepat dalam mengambil keputusan managemen sangat diperlukan.Hal itu terjadi karena lingkungan perusahaan yang selalu berubah-ubah, di mana perubahannya seringkali terjadi secara tidak teratur.Manager dapat memakai konsep managemen strategi yang efektif agar perusahaan lebih terarah dalam mencapai tujuannya. Melalui aktivitas manajemen strategi, manager dan karyawan dapat mergers dan memahami tujuan yang hendak dicapai.Dalam managemen strategi, hal yang paling penting adalah analisis lingkungan perusahaan, baik internal maupun eksternal.Tujuan analisis itu adalah untuk mengetahui kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman yang melingkupi perusahaan. Analisis itu dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode SWOT Melalui metode SWOT itu, pihak manajemen dapat secara tepat menganalisa situasi dan kondisi yang melingkupi perusahaannya, sehingga kemudian dapat menetapkan strategi yang efektif untuk mencapai tujuan perusahaan.
