Analisis Tingkat Pengangguran di 25 Kabupaten Kota di Jawa Barat 2006-2009

Abstract

Dengan tingkat permasalahan kemiskinan yang tinggi di Jawa Barat menjadikan sebuah pertanyaan besar mengapa hal tersebut dapat terjadi. Hal yang paling mempengaruhi tingkat kemiskinan di Jawa Barat adalah tingkat pengangguran yang tetap cukup tinggi di Jawa Barat. Dengan tingkat pengangguran yang tinggi akan menyebabkan rendahnya tingkat pendapatan masyarakat yang ada di Jawa Barat. Ada beberapa hal yang mempengaruhi tingkat pengangguran di Jawa Barat. Salah satu hal yang paling yang mempengaruhi tingkat pengangguran tersebut adalah berapa besar tingkat penyerapan tenaga kerja dari setiap sektor atau lapangan pekerjaan utama di Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini meneliti bagaimana pengaruh beberapa lapangan pekerjaan utama terhadap pengurangan tingkat pengangguran seperti lapangan pekerjaan pertanian, industri manufaktur dan perdagangan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan cara Fixed Effect Model yang menunjukkan bahwa tingkat lapangan pekerjaan utama yaitu pertanian, industri manufaktur, dan perdagangan memiliki pengaruh yang negatif terhadap tingkat pengangguran di Jawa Barat atau dengan kata lain dengan meningkatnya atau meluasnya lapangan pekerjaan pertanian, industri manufaktur, dan perdagangan akan mengurangi jumlah pengangguran di Jawa Barat.
