Konversi Lahan Sawah Berbasis Perubahan Penutup Lahan Citra Multiwaktu di Kota Langsa

Abstract

Konversi lahan sawah ke non sawah di Kota Langsa terus terjadi dan sulit dihindari akibat pertumbuhan ekonomi dan pertambahan jumlah penduduk sehingga mendorong terjadi peningkatan kebutuhan lahan untuk kegiatan-kegiatan non sawah. Peraturan mengenai perlindungan lahan pertanian pangan telah dibuat oleh pemerintah, namun implementasinya belum dilaksanakan di semua kabupaten/kota. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui besaran konversi lahan sawah di Kota Langsa. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis overlay untuk mengetahui konversi lahan sawah pada tahun 2010 dan 2016. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa lahan sawah terkonversi dari tahun 2010 hingga 2016 adalah seluas 109,15 Ha (6,5%). Untuk mencegah konversi lahan sawah pada masa yang akan datang, maka diperlukan pembuatan Qanun (Perda) yang memuat tentang tata cara alih fungsi lahan (sawah beririgasi), larangan dan sanksinya.
