PENGARUH APLIKASI PUPUK SP 36 TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI JAGUNG MANIS (Zea mays saccharata Sturt )

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Sei Dadap 3/4, Kecamatan Sei Dadap, Kabupaten Asahan, Provinsi Sumatera Utara dengan ketinggian ± 10 m dpl, tipe iklim C (oldeman), jarak dari kampus UNA 7 km. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan bulan Juni sampai bulan September 2017. Rancangan penelitian adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial Non Faktor yang terdiri dari 4 taraf pemberian pupuk SP-36 yaitu : P1 = 200 kg SP-36/ha (32 g/plot), P2 = 400 kg SP-36/ha (63 g/plot), P3 = 600 kg SP-36/ha (95 g/plot), P4 = 800 kg SP-36/ha (126 g/plot). Dengan 3 ulangan. Pemberian pupuk SP-36 sampai dosis 800 kg SP-36/ha (126 g/plot) (P4) pada tanaman jagung manis menunjukkan adanya pengaruh terhadap peningkatan pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman umur 2 dan 6 MST; diameter batang umur 2, 4 dan 6 MST; luas daun, umur berbunga, produksi jagung berkelobot per sampel.
