Determinantes de las innovaciones y el rol de la regulacion

Abstract

Este documento presenta una revision de la literatura economica sobre las innovaciones y las fuerzas que determinan la conducta innovativa de las firmas. Para ello se analiza el caso de las industrias de redes que estan reguladas. Particularmente, la argumentacion hace referencia a la industria de las telecomunicaciones. La importancia de la regulacion en la dinamica innovativa se enfatiza dado que la misma afecta la conducta de las firmas pero al mismo tiempo debe responder a los cambios que se producen un marco teorico sencillo para analizar el rol del nivel y la incertidumbre del ingreso como determinantes de la demanda en el mercado derivados de las innovaciones.
