Účastnický potenciál eventů - "Kolo pro život 2016"

Abstract

Sportovní akce a události jsou nedílnou součástí společenského života lidí a jsou také považovány za atraktivní z hlediska cestovního ruchu. V tomto článku jsem se zaměřil na konkrétní oblasti sportovních akcí. Závody MTB "Kolo pro život České spořitelny" získaly značnou oblibu mezi profesionálními i amatérskými cyklisty. Závody jsou úspěšně prezentovány v národních médiích a získaly značné množství sponzorství. Každý rok se závodů zúčastní až 25.000 aktivních cyklistů. Tentokrát, na základě předchozích analýz míst a jejich potenciálu atraktivity z hlediska cestovního ruchu, jsem se zaměřil na složení aktivních účastníků a snažil se posoudit jejich potenciál pro využití služeb cestovního ruchu v místě konání sledovaných akcích. Pro analýzu dat jsem použil metod deskriptivní statistiky a geografického informačního systému ArcGIS. Výsledky výzkumu naznačují, že přímé využití účastnického potenciálu cestovního ruchu v dané destinaci je velmi omezené.
