Abstract
Les grandes villes constituent en général un tremplin pour l’éducation : dans la plupart des pays, la performance s’améliore de façon spectaculaire lorsque l’on prend uniquement en compte les résultats des élèves scolarisés en milieu urbain, à l’exception de certains pays comme la Belgique, le Royaume-Uni et les États-Unis. Lorsque l’on compare la performance des élèves des grandes agglomérations, les élèves du Portugal et d’Israël obtiennent d’aussi bons résultats que ceux de Singapour, et ceux de Pologne se situent au même niveau que ceux de Hong-Kong.Download Info
