Abstract

Des bâtiments scolaires ultramodernes peuvent améliorer la qualité de l’enseignement et avoir un effet positif sur toute personne qui les utilise. C’est la raison pour laquelle le ministère anglais de l’Éducation et des compétences (DfES) a engagé une stratégie ambitieuse visant sur une période de cinq ans à améliorer les équipements éducatifs de tous les enfants dans le pays et à créer des ressources d’excellence pour l’ensemble de la collectivité. Le programme intitulé Building Schools for the Future (construire les écoles de demain) bénéficie d’un niveau record d’investissement dans les infrastructures scolaires, tient compte des changements à apporter à l’environnement éducatif bâti et accorde une attention toute particulière aux conceptions exemplaires.
