Abstract

Le Royaume-Uni a lancé au printemps 1999 un grand projet pour accroître l’utilisation des bâtiments scolaires. Les bonnes écoles des secteurs public et privé ont toujours offert des activités récréatives et scolaires en dehors des heures de classe. Le gouvernement a décidé maintenant d’investir 200 millions de livres sterling provenant de la Loterie nationale pour permettre aux écoles des zones défavorisées dont les élèves ont de faibles résultats scolaires de développer ce type d’initiatives.
