Atténuer l’impact du COVID-19 sur le tourisme et soutenir la reprise

Abstract

À la date de publication du présent rapport, les perspectives dans le secteur du tourisme restent très incertaines. La pandémie de coronavirus (COVID-19) continue d’affecter durement ce secteur ; selon les prévisions, le repli du tourisme international devrait avoisiner 80 % en 2020. Le tourisme interne contribue à atténuer le choc, tout au moins partiellement, et les pouvoirs publics ont pris des mesures immédiates remarquables pour aider et relancer le secteur tout en protégeant les emplois et les entreprises. Bon nombre de pays s’emploient aussi maintenant à élaborer des mesures visant à construire une économie touristique plus résiliente dans la perspective de l’après-COVID-19. Elles consistent notamment à préparer des plans de soutien à une relance durable du secteur, en encourageant les transitions numérique et écologique de la filière et en repensant l’avenir du tourisme.
