Las entidades sin fines de lucro necesitan que sus trabajadores sean dinámicos en la transmisión de conocimiento para ser eficientes. La motivación intrínseca puede ayudar a la transmisión de conocimiento teniendo en cuenta que en este tipo de organizaciones se convierte en un complemento imprescindible de la motivación extrínseca. Los resultados de esta investigación, realizada sobre una entidad de acción social y tomando como unidad de análisis a sus trabajadores, muestran que la transmisión del conocimiento se potencia a través de la motivación intrínseca y tiene repercusiones sobre la eficiencia de la organización de forma coadyuvante con la motivación extrínseca.
