Assessment of innovative activity of Russia’s regions

Abstract

This article focuses on evaluation of innovative activity of regions of Russia. In this paper we proposed statistical indicators that in our opinion reflect the development of innovation systems and the innovation in regions of Russia. Further, we carried out a typology of regions and identified several trends in innovation within the selected types.
