Abstract

El objetivo de la presente Comunicación es describir el consumo de verduras y frutas frescas (VyF) por parte de los residentes urbanos del Partido de General Pueyrredon (PGP). A tal fin, se analizan datos provenientes de una encuesta y de entrevistas, realizadas durante noviembre 2021-mayo 2022. Con ambas metodologías de indagación, se exploran cuestiones referidas a frecuencia y diversificación de consumo, canales de compra, valoración de atributos, percepciones de riesgo asociado al empleo de pesticidas y fertilizantes e higienización y sanitización, considerando género, edad y educación. En base a los primeros resultados, es posible señalar que, si bien una importante proporción parecería consumir VyF de acuerdo con las recomendaciones científicas sobre una alimentación sana, nutritiva y sustentable, otra importante proporción lo hace por debajo de ellas.
