Abstract

Este capítulo pretende ser una guía de medidas simples, efectivas y de costo reducido para aumentar la productividad y mejorar las condiciones en el lugar de trabajo El lector encontrará ideas con respecto a asuntos básicos como almacenamiento y manipulación de materiales, iluminación, diseño de puestos de trabajo, utilización eficiente de la maquinaria, disposición de la planta y organización del trabajo, como soluciones prácticas para propietarios y gerentes de pequeñas y medianas empresas industriales, sugeridas por los manuales de operación de la OIT -Oficina Internacional del Trabajo-.
