Helicicultura. Aspectos controvertidos de su valuación en el impuesto a las ganancias

Abstract

Iniciado por la inminente demanda europea, la helicicultura ha tenido su mayor auge y evolución en los últimos años. Aunque, cualitativamente el peso específico de esta producción alternativa es pequeño, su potencial de desarrollo es destacado y ya se puede hablar de la cría de caracoles terrestres como una actividad zootécnica reconocida a nivel internacional. El presente trabajo tiene por objetivo describir las características de esta nueva actividad agropecuaria no tradicional e identificar mediante un análisis técnico y crítico las controversias presentes en la ley de impuesto a las ganancias en cuanto a la valuación impositiva de las existencias. Con la finalidad de reafirmar los conceptos vertidos se desarrollan ejemplos prácticos utilizando la metodología de estudio de casos para ilustrar las principales conclusiones.
