Asimetrías intergéneros e intragéneros: un abordaje desde la situación de pobreza

Abstract

En este documento se analizan, desde un enfoque de género, los principales cambios de la estructura socio-ocupacional ocurridos desde mediados de la década del noventa en el mercado laboral argentino, y particularmente en el aglomerado Mar del Plata-Batán. Se sostiene como hipótesis la existencia de una creciente participación de la mano de obra femenina, la cual amplió la oferta de trabajo buscando compensar la pérdida de ingresos de los hogares y, al mismo tiempo, que es entre las mujeres donde se ha registrado un mayor incremento de la pobreza.
