Abstract

Nous Appliquons L'analyse Factorielle de Correspondances et la Regression Multivariee Pour Identifier les Facteurs Determinants de L'evolution des Investissements Directs Etrangers au Canada (Idec) Selon le Pays de Provenance et le Secteur D'investissement. Nous Avons Tente D'exp[Liquer les Idec Par des Elements de Rentabilite, et Par la Variation Dans le Taux de Change Ainsi Que des Variables Refletant le Role de L'agence de Tamisage des Investissements (Fira) et D'investissement Canada. Nous Concluons Aussi Que L'accroissement des Investissements Etrangers au Canada Durant la Periode 1976-86 S'est Fait Surtout Par le Reinvestissement et Non Par L'apport de Nouveaux Capitaux.
