Marque Par une Desinflation Importante, le Profil de L'expansion Amorcee En 1983 Se Situe En Deca de Celui des Expansions de la Derniere Decennie. la Vigueur du Secteur Exterieur a Partiellement Compense la Faiblesse de la Demande Interne Exacerbee Par un Cout du Capital Tres Eleve. une Croissance Nettement Accrue de la Productivite Comparitivement a Celle de la Periode 1975-1982 a Servi a Ameliorer les Marges Beneficiaires. la Persistance Exceptionnelle D'un Deficit Budgetaire Tres Eleve En Periode de Reprise a Pu Contribuer a la Faiblesse du Dollar Canadien et a Accroitre la Prime Incluse Dans les Taux D'interet Canadiens. Enfin, Cette Reprise Est Marquee de Differentes Mutations Structurelles Dont la Portee Demeure Encore Difficile a Prevoir.
