Abstract

At a time of rising concern about substance use dependence among adults—and the co-occurring potential for child maltreatment—researchers, policymakers, and practitioners are increasingly looking for studies on the effectiveness of substance use disorder treatment, family-strengthening efforts, and similar evidence-based programs.
