A Viabilidade Das Construções Leves Em Madeira No Brasil

Abstract

O presente trabalho faz uma análise critica das construções pré-fabricadas em madeira no Brasil e um levantamento dos principais fatores que interferem na demanda por construções pré-fabricadas no Brasil. A construção em madeira foi considerada um dos pontos mais relevantes na convenção internacional realizada no Rio Janeiro ECO - 92. O sistema leve, conhecido como sistema plataforma muito utilizado nos Estados Unidos, Canadá e Finlândia, apresenta um alto grau de desenvolvimento e aceitação das construções habitacionais em madeira. O mercado de construções habitacionais no Brasil começa a despertar um interesse, por este sistema construtivo. Para que o mercado das construções assuma uma tendência nesta orientação, é necessário que se efetuem investimentos para a indústria de componentes em madeira, de modo a permitir uma maior flexibilidade no projeto, melhores condições de durabilidade e manutenção nas construções pré-fabricadas em madeira.
