La Globalización y el Mercado de Vivienda Usada en Barranquilla

Abstract

En el presente trabajo se explora la hipótesis de que los grandes cambios en los precios de la vivienda usada en Barranquilla durante el periodo 1990 – 2005, no obedecen necesariamente a un fenómeno de tipo especulativo, sino que se corresponden con la volatilidad a la que las reformas de corte neoliberal han expuesto el sector externo de la economía colombiana. En este frente, es la liberalización monetaria la que parece determinar en mayor medida la evolución de los precios y las ofertas
