Abstract

As pesquisas sobre os tipos arquitetônicos são importantes para a teoria da arquitetura por admitirem estudos entre o arcabouço que intervém na forma proposta e nas opções tipológicas. Os resultados dos estudos das tipologias relacionadas aos usos são prezáveis para o projeto de arquitetura e alimentam o processo de investigação e especulação que instiga as propostas projetuais.Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo identificar e analisar os tipos dos edifícios altos de escritórios em São Paulo, projetados, construídos e divulgados entre janeiro de 1979 a dezembro de 2010. Nesta parte da pesquisa focou-se nas plantas do andar tipo, dentro do recorte temporal proposto. Para a amostra estudada foram selecionados os 115 edifícios publicados na revista de arquitetura e urbanismo: Projeto Design.
