- Un Análisis Sobre El Gasto En Servicios De Vivienda En España

Abstract

The paper¿s objective is to determine the sociodemographic and economic factors which influence housing demand of owners in an urban and rural area. In addition, we pretend to state that the housing tenure and the location of the dwelling in an urban or rural area are endogenous in the quantity of housing services demanded.The analysis outlines a situation that combines discrete choices with continuous choices which are interrelated, and this situation must be analysed by the econometric models with sample selectivity. El objetivo del trabajo es estudiar los factores sociodemográficos y económicos que inciden en el gasto de los hogares propietarios en un ámbito urbano y en un ámbito rural. Además, se pretende constatar que tanto el régimen de tenencia (propietario o inquilino) como la localización de la vivienda en un ámbito urbano o rural son factores endógenos en el gasto en servicios de vivienda. El análisis plantea una situación que combina elecciones de tipo discreto y elecciones de tipo continuo que están relacionadas entre sí, que debe ser analizada con los modelos con efectos de composición endógenos.
