Abstract

The analysis of the determinants of the individual wage income can be transfered to the total domestic income from the point of view of the human capital. This paper analyzes the effects that a group of variables, relative to sociodemographic and labour attributes, exerts on the total income rate reached by the Comunidad Valenciana households, taking into account the different elements of the total income. Using an ordered logit model it makes a quantitative estimation of the influence of the characteristics on the chance of being situated in each one of the steps of the established total income scale.
