Abstract

Este trabalho tem por objetivo conhecer a cadeia de comercialização de produto extrativista florestal não madeireiro - açaí - da Região de Integração (RI) do Tocantins no Pará através da aplicação de metodologia das contas sociais alfa (CSa) no Pará. A atividade econômica extrativista de produto florestal não madeireiro, nos últimos anos, conquista importância para a região Norte do país. Conhecer essa cadeia de comercialização e avaliar o seu desempenho é tarefa que colaborará na formulação das políticas públicas. This work aims to analyze the commercialization process of non-lumberman forest products (açaí fruit) in the Integration Region of Tocantins, state of Pará, by using Alpha Social Accounts (CSa) methodology. The activities of the extractive nonlumberman forest products sector in the recent period emerge in the north region of Brazil. Knowing this commercialization process and evaluate it will contribute when making public policy.
