Abstract

Este documento comprueba que los datos en línea sobre las vacantes y las solicitudes a un portal de empleo (bolsa de trabajo) son una fuente prometedora para estudiar la dinámica de las competencias, especialmente en países donde las fuentes alternativas son escasas. Para mostrar esto, desarrollamos una taxonomía de competencias, evaluamos las características de dichos datos en línea y empleamos técnicas de procesamiento des lenguaje natural y aprendizaje automático. La implementación empírica utiliza datos de Uruguay del portal de empleo BuscoJobs, que puede ser replicada con datos similares de otros países.
