El papel de las asociaciones de aseguradores en la educación al consumidor de seguros en América Latina

Abstract

Desde la pasada década, algunas asociaciones de aseguradores han ampliado sus funciones fundamentales tradicionales para desarrollar programas de educación al consumidor de seguros (ECS). Este documento analiza diversas estrategias que algunas asociaciones de aseguradores han puesto en práctica en América Latina para una consumidor de seguros efectiva. Se hace énfasis en el modelo de negocio que las asociaciones pueden implementar, al mismo tiempo que se proporcionan lecciones generales y enlaces a materiales útiles de referencia. El análisis se basa en una evaluación de las experiencias de las asociaciones de aseguradores en Brasil, Colombia y México.
