Abstract

Examines the potential of the ethno-tourism sector to generate employment and income through small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Ethno-tourism is defined as a specialized type of cultural tourism which focuses on the works of humans rather than nature and attempts to give tourists an understanding of the lifestyles of the local people.
