Working paper on a comparison of employment policies for migrant workers in Germany, Federal Republic, France and Switzerland, drawing lessons for the USA - outlines trends in the number of seasonal workers and other workers given work permits from 1950 to 1979, and studies indicators of family migration, inactivity, duration of stay and return migration, etc. References and statistical tables.
