Abstract

One of the visions of the National AYUSH Mission (NAM), under the Ministry of AYUSH is “To provide cost effective and equitable AYUSH health care throughout the country by improving access to the services”. Access to healthcare can include both demand side and supply side factors. In this paper, we are particularly interested to understand the demand side factors associated with adoption of AYUSH services in India, using the NSS datasets.
