Abstract

Penelitian ini berupaya untuk merumuskan paradigm dan model pertumbuhan ekonomi yang lebih sesuai dengan memanfaatkan berbagai potensi perekonomian Indonesia, khususnya sumber daya manusia. Dalam penelitian ini, diuji pula relevansi model pertumbuhan semiendogen dalam menjelaskan transformasi pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia dengan menggunakan data historis time-series (1968-2016) dan mengakomodasi peran perubahan struktural (structural breaks) serta pasar keuangan syariah. Temuan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah model semi-endogen non-linear lebih baik dalam menjelaskan petumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia. Selain itu, pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia juga didorong oleh kegiatan penelitian (R&D) dan akses ke pasar keuangan syariah.
