Abstract

El Mercado Común del Sur (MERCOSUR) se ha constituido, desde la firma del Tratado de Asunción en 1991, en un caso testigo para evaluar los éxitos y los desafíos que encierra el proceso de integración vigente en América Latina y el Caribe. La intención del INTAL, mediante la publicación del Informe MERCOSUR, es facilitar el acceso de información a un universo de potenciales lectores interesados en esta región. Se intenta además trascender el interés que el MERCOSUR despierta a nivel subregional, facilitando su difusión a la comunidad internacional con en idioma inglés, además de los dos idiomas oficiales del proceso, español y portugués.
