Abstract

"Technologischer Wandel, Digitalisierung und Dekarbonisierung führen zu einer Transformation in der Automobilwirtschaft. Die vorliegende Studie untersucht, welche Regionen und Berufe in Thüringen besonders von einem Strukturwandel in der Automobilwirtschaft betroffen sein könnten. In dieser Branche wuchs die Beschäftigung im Bundesland im letzten Jahrzehnt teilweise deutlich überdurchschnittlich. Dennoch liegt der Anteil der Automobilbeschäftigten an allen Beschäftigten etwas unter dem Bundesdurchschnitt. Dagegen sind in Thüringen Branchen, die als Zulieferer für die Automobilwirtschaft wichtig sind, stärker entwickelt. Hinsichtlich der Betroffenheit von Berufen wird deutlich, dass die in der Automobil- und Zulieferbranche zahlenmäßig starken Berufe in der Regel in anderen Wirtschaftszweigen stärker vertreten sind und gegebenenfalls gute Wechselmöglichkeiten dorthin existieren."
