Abstract

"Branchenwechsel von Beschäftigten sind meist in jenen Wirtschaftszweigen hoch, in denen auch „Quereinstiege“ ohne fachspezifische Kenntnisse möglich sind und zudem eine saisonbedingt schwankende Arbeitskräftenachfrage besteht. Das Gastgewerbe (Gastronomie und Beherbergung) ist eine Branche, in der die Personalfluktuation schon vor der Pandemie deutlich höher lag als in anderen Branchen. Während der Corona-Krise übersteigt die Zahl der Abgänge aus dieser Branche die der Zugänge jedoch nennenswert. Als pandemiebedingte Ausweichbranchen für ehemalige Beschäftigte in der Gastronomie und der Beherbergung erweisen sich insbesondere der Einzelhandel und mit einigem Abstand auch Post- und Kurierdienste. Wie zuvor wechseln auch während der Pandemie noch viele Beschäftigte aus der Beherbergung in die Gastronomie. Auffällig ist, dass in der Gruppe der Minijobber der coronabedingte Beschäftigungsrückgang deutlich höher ausfällt als bei den sozialversicherungspflichtig Beschäftigten und dies insbesondere in der Gastronomie."
