Abstract

"About a half of all German establishments reported being predominantly negatively affected by the war in Ukraine in the fourth quarter of 2022 according to data from the IAB Job Vacancy Survey. Those establishments posted a lower growth of vacancies (+11 per cent) relative to the fourth quarter of 2021. As a comparison, the establishments that were not predominantly negatively affected by the war showed a vacancies growth of 35 per cent relative to same quarter in 2021."
