Abstract

"We investigate which groups of people entered unemployment benefit II receipt between 2010 and 2017 and what role previous unemployment insurance benefit or the loss of employment played. We observe that more than 1 million people enter benefit receipt per year. About one third of these already received benefits within the previous 12 months." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
