Abstract

"In light of an ageing population and an increasing demand for skilled labour, additional efforts are necessary in order to improve the employment opportunities for older workers. Based on a survey of caseworkers, we discuss potential obstacles to successful placements as well as the need for programmes aimed at getting members of older age groups back into employment. In this context, we also present the results of an evaluation study on a targeted wage support programme for older workers." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
