Abstract

"The IAB Brief Report looks into the implementation of Einstiegsgeld, a start-up subsidy provided by job centres within the Social Code II framework. It looks at dominant practices of allocating the subsidy and identifies typical challenges, like i.e. the ex ante evaluation of the economic viability of start-ups."
