Abstract

. En términos generales, la evidencia disponible tanto al nivel internacional como nacional no es concluyente sobre la significación de la conexión entre déficit público y tipos de interés. Nuestro objetivo es hacer una breve revisión al tratamiento que se le ha dado al problema para arrojar un poco de luz sobre las diferencias observadas en el pasado entre los diversos investigadores. Como objetivo secundario, este trabajo intenta complementar los resultados obtenidos en un trabajo anterior en el que se analizaban los efectos de la política fiscal sobre el consumo privado para el caso español.
