設備投資の決定要因に関する『経済産業省企業活動基本調査』調査票情報による実証分析

Abstract

本論文は2009年から2015年までの『経済産業省企業活動基本調査』の調査票情報を用いて、世界金融危機以降の日本企業の設備投資の決定要因について実証分析した。世界金融危機以降の日本企業の設備投資に関しては、収益性が改善しているのに設備投資は低迷している理由に関する研究が行われてきた。その理由としてTFPの低迷やR&D、無形資産、FDI、M&Aなどに資金を使うこと、予備的な動機で内部留保を増やしていることが主張されてきた。本論文では、投資関数の推計を通じてこれらの主張を検証した。得られた主な結果は以下のとおりである。1）TFPが高い企業ほど設備投資を増やした。2）M&Aと無形資産のソフトウェアは設備投資と補完的な関係にあった。3）キャッシュ・フローの増加は設備投資を増加させた。
