Abstract

This research studies the German influence on “the Imaginative Absolute” of Yakov Golosovker, whose philosophical legacy has not yet been reflected in the history of Russian thought. His legacy and its diverse intellectual themes is investigated using archival materials. The article is divided into three parts: a dialogue with the “eternal companion” Holderlin, a struggle with Kant, and a dialogue with the “eternal companion” Nietzsche. Such a structure allows the author to identify, link, and problematize the fundamental philosophical foundations of Golosovker's system and embed his legacy into the Russian-German intellectual dialogue. The research is carried out as part of an ongoing study.
