Maskin till maskin-kommunikation - En studie av trögheter i samband med systemförsäljning i konvergerande industrier

Abstract

Med utgångspunkt i framväxten av mobil data och mobilt internet samt “mobilitet” i vid bemärkelse, har ett antal projekt formulerats vars syfte är att studera användarsidan och gapet mellan användarsidan och leverantörerna av de nya systemen. Denna studie är en av flera i detta program. Studiens syfte är att kartlägga de trögheter som uppstår i samband med systemförsäljning i konvergerande industrier. Fokus för undersökningen har varit marknaden för maskin till maskin-kommunikation. De preliminära resultaten indikerar ett antal utmaningar som branschen står inför. Dessa kan sammanfattas i åtta punkter: avsaknad av teknisk standard, pris och abonnemangsstruktur, samarbete och partnerskap, organisatorisk osäkerhet och kulturell olikhet, kortsiktigt strategiskt tänkande, förtroende och tillit, samt förhållandet till kund och kundens kund.
