Abstract

Servicemötet handlar oftast om ett möte mellan människor. I detta avseende är det inte bara legitimt utan även nödvändigt att betrakta det utifrån ett etiskt perspektiv och ställa sig frågan: vilken moral kräver servicemötet?Kapitlet börjar med en introduktion till Emmanuel Levinas etik. Det fortsätter med en kritisk läsning av valda texter inom service management. Det avslutas med ett Richard Sennett inspirerat försvarstal för respekt som servicemötets etik.
