Abstract

I en analyse af relationen mellem kollektivt entrepreneurship og bølger af ko-operativ udvikling blev en konklusion, at til trods for tendenser til øget betyd-ning af kollektivt entrepreneurship er der i dag ikke tendenser til en ny bølge af kooperativer, og at det kooperative ideal er en løsning, der leder efter sit pro-blem, Jf. Tetzschner (1998). Men analysen af den første bølge af kooperativer viser også, at således har dette ikke altid været. Analysen viser, at der specielt hvad angår andelsbevægelsen ikke var tale om en løsning, der ledte efter sit problem, men at andelsbevægelsen var en væsentlig faktor i omformningen af det danske samfund omkring århundredeskiftet. Andelsbevægelsen var en so-cial innovation, der gav bøndernes massebevægelse ny økonomisk kraft og samtidig tillod dem at realisere deres politiske og ideologiske præferencer, dvs. i den tids klassesamfund at kæmpe for deres subjektive klasseinteresser.i Men i dag er der ikke tendenser til tilsvarende slagkraftige sociale bevægelser, for hvem den kooperative vej synes at være en relevant strategi. Andelsbevægelsen har udspillet sin rolle som en social innovation.ii
